Birthday banner printing in Pune is mostly about two things: a backdrop that makes the cake-cutting photos look good, and a name or photo banner that tells guests whose day it is. 3 Red Media prints both at its own unit in Chandni Chowk, for parents planning a first birthday, friends arranging a surprise, and families marking a 50th or 60th.
Ordering a birthday banner at short notice
Birthdays are often planned late. If the party is in a day or two, the fastest route is to send the size, the photo and the exact text on WhatsApp in one message. We confirm the price and send a proof, and once you approve, we tell you when it will be ready. Whether a very short deadline works depends on the size and what else is in the print queue that day, so ask early in the day if you can.
To save time on an urgent order: decide the size before you message, send the photo as a file (not a forwarded image), and type the name exactly as it should appear.
Which size fits your party venue
| Where the party is | Backdrop size that usually fits | How it is put up |
|---|---|---|
| Living room wall at home | 4×6 ft or 5×7 ft | Tape or hooks through eyelets; a light flex banner is easy |
| Society clubhouse or terrace | 6×8 ft to 8×10 ft | Tied to a pipe frame or the grill with rope |
| Banquet hall stage | 8×12 ft or the hall’s frame size | On the decorator’s frame; ask for inner measurements |
| Building gate or lift lobby | 2×3 ft welcome board | On an easel, or a sunboard print leaned on a stand |
Measure the wall before you order. A backdrop that is wider than the wall bends at the corners and looks odd in photos. If in doubt, go one size smaller and leave a bit of wall showing on each side.
Kids’ theme banners
Cartoon jungle, space, unicorn, superhero, cars, princess, cricket: most kids’ parties have a theme, and the backdrop carries it. You can send a design made by a designer or from an online template, or send the theme, child’s name and age, and a few photos for us to lay out.
One thing to know: well-known cartoon characters belong to their owners. For a private party at home this is rarely a worry, but if you are a party planner printing the same design for many clients, use generic theme art.
Photo banners: months, years and collages
First-birthday families often want a month-by-month collage, twelve photos from birth to now. These look great when every photo is the original file from the phone gallery. Screenshots and WhatsApp-forwarded photos lose detail, and in a collage the bad ones stand out next to the good ones.
Small things that make birthday prints look better
- Keep the child’s name and age big and in the top half. The cake table hides the lower part of the backdrop.
- Choose matte finish so phone flash does not leave a bright spot behind the birthday child.
- Add a separate 2×3 ft welcome board for the door; guests look for it when they arrive.
- For balloon decorations, leave plain space at the edges where the balloon arch will go.
- For a 50th or 60th birthday, a photo timeline of the person through the decades is a nice touch, and elders love reading it.
Can the banner be reused?
Flex rolls up and stores well. If you leave the date off and keep the design general (“Happy Birthday” with a theme), it can come out again next year or for a sibling’s party. Personalised photo banners usually become keepsakes instead, so roll them with the print facing out to avoid creases.
For a printed photo you want to frame afterwards, a canvas print of the best party photo makes a good return gift for grandparents.
Surprise parties and society clubhouses
For a surprise party, the banner usually goes up in the last hour, often by friends who have never put one up before. Ask for eyelets in all four corners plus the middle of the top edge, and carry string or cable ties and a roll of strong tape. A backdrop that hangs straight on the first try saves a lot of panic before the guest of honour walks in.
Housing society clubhouses often have rules about sticking things on walls and about cleaning up by a fixed time. Check with the society office when you book. If tape is not allowed, a banner tied to a portable stand or a sunboard leaned against the wall solves it.
