3 Red Media takes on flex printing for Mumbai and Navi Mumbai when the job is large, planned or tied to Pune: exhibition stalls at the city’s big venues, event sets for companies based in Pune, and branding rollouts that need matching prints in both cities. We print at our Chandni Chowk unit, which sits by the highway that leads onto the Mumbai–Pune Expressway, and send the finished work by road, roughly 150 km.
Mumbai has thousands of printers, many of them very good, so this page is not about being nearer or cheaper. It is about one supplier handling a Pune and Mumbai job end to end, with every proof on WhatsApp and no surprises at the venue.
Jobs that make sense to send from Pune
Exhibition stalls
Pune companies exhibit regularly at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC and the CIDCO Exhibition Centre in Vashi. When the marketing team, the product samples and the stall designer are all in Pune, it is simpler to proof and print the graphics here and send them with the rest of the stall material. Our exhibition stall printing page explains panel sizes, fixing and what travels well.
Two-city rollouts
A chain refreshing its stores, a bank updating branch posters or a developer launching projects in both Pune and Navi Mumbai needs the same colours everywhere. Printing the whole set in one run, then splitting it by city, avoids the small colour differences that show up when two printers work from the same file.
Corporate and private events
Offsites, dealer meets and family functions organised from Pune but held in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai or the Panvel side often need backdrops, entry boards and standees designed here. The frame or truss is usually supplied by the venue or the decorator in Mumbai; we print to their drawing. Wedding families from Pune hosting a reception in Mumbai are a common example: the invitation design is already here, so the backdrop matches it exactly.
What travels well over 150 km
| Item | How it travels | Our advice |
|---|---|---|
| Flex banners and backdrops | Rolled on a core, wrapped | Travels very well; fold only if unavoidable |
| Vinyl graphics for walls or glass | Rolled, unmounted | Apply at site; check surface prep with the venue |
| Sunboard prints | Flat, corners protected | Can dent; pack with spares for key panels |
| Roll-up standees | In their own carry bags | Ideal for travel, reusable at the next show |
| Very large single pieces | Rolled, labelled by position | Agree a joining plan with the installer first |
Planning a Mumbai job from Pune
The usual mistake is to treat a Mumbai job like a Pune one. The delivery leg is costed on its own, by load and distance, and the drive itself takes time, so build in at least one extra day; for a show, aim for the print to reach the venue before build-up begins, not on the morning it opens. Venues have their own entry rules and loading-bay timings, so share the organiser’s logistics note with us.
If it is a permanent board for a Mumbai or Navi Mumbai shop, remember that Maharashtra requires shop name boards to show the name in Marathi (Devanagari), and the municipal corporations, BMC in Mumbai and NMMC in Navi Mumbai, have been enforcing it. Check your ward office’s latest guidance before finalising the design.
Prices for Mumbai jobs
People often search for flex printing rates in Mumbai. The material cost for a Mumbai order is the same as for Pune; what changes is delivery, packing and any fixing at the venue. Our flex printing price guide explains how per-sq-ft pricing works, and for very large formats see large-format printing.
Send the show name, stall number and build-up date in your first message. Those three details decide the whole delivery plan.
When you are ready, request a quote; the price, the delivery plan and a proof come back in the WhatsApp chat.
