Election banner printing is high-volume, deadline-driven work: the same message in many sizes, for wards, rallies, campaign offices and vehicles, often in a few days. 3 Red Media prints election flex, flags, hoardings and vehicle graphics at its own unit in Chandni Chowk, Pune, for candidates and campaign teams of any party or independent. We are a print shop, not a campaign: we do not take sides, and we print for all who follow the rules.

The legal line every election print must carry

Under Section 127A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, election posters, pamphlets and similar material must show the name and address of the printer and of the publisher. The Election Commission has directed that this covers hoardings and banners too. The printer also needs a signed declaration from the publisher before printing, and copies go to the election authorities afterwards.

In practice: before we print, the publisher (the candidate or the person ordering on their behalf) gives us the declaration in the prescribed form, and the printer and publisher line is added to the design. Proofs without that line will not go to print. State and local election rules can add their own requirements, so check the latest instructions from the election office.

Print the printer and publisher line in a size that can actually be read. Hiding it in a 2 mm strip at the bottom of a 10 ft banner invites a complaint.

Permission and the model code of conduct

Once an election is announced, the model code of conduct applies. In general terms: campaign material should not deface government or public property, private walls and buildings need the owner’s permission, and banners and hoardings in public places need permission from the local body and the election authorities. Pune Municipal Corporation and PCMC also take action against unauthorised flex, and candidates have been asked to clear pending flex fines in some elections. Our banner permission guide explains the civic side.

These rules change from one election to the next. Treat this page as a general pointer and confirm the current rules with the returning officer or your party’s legal cell.

How to keep a campaign print run on schedule

  • Freeze the master design early. Every change after approval delays every size.
  • Send all sizes in one list so the work can be grouped and run together.
  • Keep the candidate photo as an original high-resolution file; it will be printed many feet tall.
  • Use the party’s or candidate’s colours as codes so all batches match.
  • Plan delivery points: campaign office, ward offices, rally ground. Tell us which batch goes where.
  • Keep the publisher declaration ready before the first order, so printing is not held up.

Neutral, factual, and on time

We do not comment on, edit or advise on the political content of a design. The design and message are the candidate’s responsibility. Our job is to print it cleanly, with the legal details in place, and get it to you before the deadline. Urgent jobs are possible depending on size and the print queue, and ready times are confirmed on WhatsApp.

After the election

Once results are out, campaign material in public places should be taken down. Many campaigns then order thank-you banners for the ward. These follow the same printer and publisher rule if they relate to the election.

Rally and vehicle prints

Rallies and road shows need a stage backdrop sized to the frame, side panels for the stage and banners along the route where permitted. Campaign vehicles carry printed vinyl on the sides and back, which can be removed after the campaign. Vehicle graphics need clean, dry body panels; tell us the vehicle model so the panels can be planned, and keep the number plate, lights and windows clear.

Thank-you and result banners, ward office boards and volunteer badges or sashes are often ordered in the same week as the result. Keep the master design file handy so these can be prepared quickly.

Ordering

Send the list of sizes and quantities, your designs and the publisher details on WhatsApp or through the quote form. We send a price and a proof with the printer and publisher line in place. Printing starts after approval and the signed declaration, and batches can be collected from Chandni Chowk or delivered.

FAQ

Questions about political & election

Where can I get election banner printing in Pune?

3 Red Media prints election banners, flex, flags and hoardings at its own unit in Chandni Chowk, Pune, for candidates and campaign teams of any party. Delivery covers Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad and nearby cities.

Is it compulsory to print the printer's name on election banners?

Yes. Section 127A of the Representation of the People Act requires election posters and similar material to carry the names and addresses of the printer and the publisher, and the Election Commission has applied this to hoardings and banners. The printer also needs a signed declaration from the publisher.

Do political banners in Pune need permission?

Generally yes. Banners and hoardings in public places need permission from PMC or PCMC and must follow the model code of conduct during elections. Private property needs the owner's consent. Confirm current rules with the election office.

Can you print election flex in large quantities quickly?

Volume orders are planned as one batch so all sizes can run together. Send the full list of sizes and quantities with final designs, and the ready time is confirmed on WhatsApp depending on size and queue.

Do you print for all political parties?

Yes. We print for candidates and campaigns of any party and independents, as long as the material follows the law. We do not take political sides or edit campaign messages.

What sizes are common for political flex banners?

Street banners are often 3×6 ft to 4×8 ft, campaign office boards follow the frontage, and hoardings go up to 20×10 ft or the structure's size. Stage backdrops follow the rally frame.
