3 Red Media handles flex printing in Kondhwa for shopkeepers, café owners, schools and housing societies across Kondhwa Khurd, Kondhwa Budruk, NIBM Road and Undri. The printing happens at our own unit in Chandni Chowk. Size and artwork come to us on WhatsApp, a proof goes back to you, and once you say yes the finished banner or board travels across the city to you.
Kondhwa is a big, mixed neighbourhood. Old market lanes, new high-rise societies, cafés that fill up with students in the evening and a long list of schools all sit within a few kilometres of each other. Each of them buys a different kind of print, so it helps to start with who you are.
Three kinds of Kondhwa orders
Cafés and dessert places on NIBM Road and in Undri
The café belt around NIBM Road, Mohammadwadi and Undri lives on evening footfall. A board that is only readable in daylight wastes half its working hours, so many owners choose backlit flex in a glow sign box for the fascia and keep plain vinyl for the menu wall inside. If the café has a glass front, a printed film on the glass can carry the name without blocking the view of the seating.
Shops on the main Kondhwa road and in the market lanes
Traders here usually want a fascia that survives sun and dust for a long time, plus a cheaper banner for each sale or new stock arrival. The fascia is a one-time decision; the offer banners come back every few weeks. Keeping one standard size for offer banners means the same frame or hooks can be reused each time, which saves fixing cost.
Housing societies and schools
The newer societies towards Undri and Pisoli order notice banners, AGM and election notices, festival backdrops and welcome boards for new residents. Schools order admission banners, sports day backdrops and annual-function flex. Both groups work with committees, so a WhatsApp proof that can be forwarded to the group before anyone says yes is often the most useful part of the order.
A Kondhwa festival calendar for printing
Kondhwa celebrates widely, and printing demand follows the calendar. The table below is a planning guide, not a promise of dates: festivals move each year, so check the date and count back.
| Occasion | What people print | When to send the design |
|---|---|---|
| Ramzan and Eid | Greeting banners, iftar and offer flex for shops and food stalls | Early in Ramzan, before the evening rush begins |
| Ganeshotsav | Mandal backdrops, society pandal banners, sponsor boards | Two to three weeks before the festival |
| Navratri | Garba night backdrops, entry arches, sponsor flex | Once the venue size is fixed |
| Diwali | Shop offer banners, society greeting flex | Before the shopping weeks start |
| School reopening | Admission open banners, gate flex | As soon as the fee and batch details are final |
During festival weeks every printer in Pune is busy. The earlier the final design reaches us, the more choice you have on material and finishing.
Printing shop in Kondhwa or a print unit across the city?
There are small printing shops inside Kondhwa, and for a visiting card or a photocopy they are the right choice. For a 10×20 ft society backdrop or a glow sign fascia you need a large-format setup, and that is what we run. The trade-off is distance: we are on the far western side of Pune, so the print travels down the highway bypass to Katraj and then along the Katraj to Kondhwa road.
That journey is why we ask for the final file a little earlier than a neighbourhood shop might. Delivery time depends on traffic on the bypass and on what else is going out that day, so we confirm it on WhatsApp when you approve the proof rather than quoting a fixed hour. For larger jobs, fixing can be arranged at the shop or the society.
What to send us from Kondhwa
- The size in feet (width × height), or a photo of the wall or railing with a tape measure in it.
- The text in the language you want. Many Kondhwa shops use English, Marathi and Urdu together; tell us which line matters most so it gets the biggest letters.
- Your logo as a PDF, CDR, AI or a clear image. If you only have a photo of an old board, send that and we will advise.
- Whether the banner is for indoor use, a covered gate or open road, so we can suggest normal flex, star flex or vinyl.
- Delivery address and a contact person who will receive it.
Café and restaurant owners planning a full refresh can read our notes on restaurant and café branding, and society committees will find size and timing advice on the festival banner page. When the details are ready, ask for a quote and the price and proof come back on WhatsApp.
