Talegaon Dabhade is two places in one: an old town in Maval with its own market, schools and colleges, and an industrial area a short drive away that supports the Chakan auto belt and is drawing newer manufacturers. 3 Red Media handles flex printing for both from its Chandni Chowk unit, with the design and proof done on WhatsApp and the delivery arranged out to Talegaon.
Because the two sides want very different things, it is worth being clear which one you are before we talk material and size.
Town or industrial area: what each usually needs
| Talegaon town and station area | Talegaon industrial area | |
|---|---|---|
| Who orders | Shop owners, schools, colleges, societies, builders | Admin, HR, safety and stores teams |

| How it is approved | Owner or committee on WhatsApp | Several people, sometimes a PO |
| Delivery point | Shop, school or society | Plant gate with a receiver’s name |
| Busy season | June admissions, Ganeshotsav, Diwali | Safety Week in March, audits, annual days |
Shops and institutions in Talegaon Dabhade
The town’s main roads and the station side have a dense mix of shops, clinics, tuition classes and colleges. Many students travel in by train, which makes the station approach a natural place for admission banners. Coaching classes and colleges here print most heavily in May and June; our coaching class banner page has size suggestions for railings and gates.
For a permanent shop board that faces the road, star flex on a metal frame is a sensible middle ground between cost and how long it keeps its colour. For glass doors, timings and small notices, printed vinyl is neater.
Units in the Talegaon industrial area
Many units here are suppliers to larger plants, and some are newer arrivals still setting up. A unit that is just starting production usually needs everything at once: the name board at the gate, area boards inside, safety signs at each machine and a backdrop for the inauguration. Send us the plant layout or a simple list of rooms and machines, and we suggest which signs can share one design so the set looks consistent. Units that are already running tend to order in smaller batches, before an audit or an annual day.
New housing around Talegaon
Housing projects have spread around Talegaon as people working in Chakan and PCMC look for more space. Builders here need boundary hoardings, sample-flat graphics and launch-day prints, and new societies need notice and festival banners once residents move in. The planning advice is the same as anywhere: fix the hoarding frame sizes first, and bring the MahaRERA number into the artwork early.
Rain on the Maval side
Talegaon sits in Maval, closer to the Sahyadri ghats than Pune city, and the monsoon here tends to be heavier and windier. For outdoor flex that has to last through June to September:
- Stretch the flex tight on a frame; loose flex flaps, tears at the eyelets and pulls the frame with it.
- Use eyelets every 1 to 2 feet along all edges, not only the corners.
- For very large banners in open plots, ask about wind cuts, small flaps that let gusts through.
- Avoid planning a new outdoor board for the wettest weeks if it can wait; fixing in heavy rain is slow and risky.
Delivery from Chandni Chowk to Talegaon
Talegaon is outside Pune city, west of PCMC towards Lonavala, so delivery is arranged separately and charged by distance and job size. Build a spare day into your schedule. For a plant, share the gate and the receiver’s name; for a shop or school, a location pin and a contact number. Once you sign off the proof, we message the date the print will reach Talegaon. Fixing can be arranged where needed.
If you are in Talegaon and also have a branch or office in Pune, we can print both together and deliver the Pune set separately.
