Most vinyl printing in Bhosari is industrial. Bhosari’s MIDC, set up in the early 1960s, is full of small and medium engineering units: auto component makers, tool and die shops, fabrication and machining firms that supply the bigger plants around PCMC and Chakan. 3 Red Media prints their safety vinyl, machine stickers and shop-floor boards at Chandni Chowk and delivers to the gate.
Factory printing is less about looks and more about being correct, readable and durable. A sign that peels off in oil mist or fades near a furnace door becomes a problem during an audit, so the vinyl type comes first.
Industrial and safety vinyl before an audit
The busiest weeks for Bhosari units are the ones before a customer audit, a certification visit or a plant tour. This is the checklist we usually work through with the quality or HR person:
- Safety signs at each machine that needs one: PPE required, hot surface, moving parts, no entry, in standard safety colours and symbols.
- Fire extinguisher and hydrant location signs, emergency exit signs and the assembly point board.
- Area boards: stores, inward inspection, quarantine, rejected material, finished goods.
- 5S and visual-management boards, tool shadow boards, and display boards for the quality policy.
- Walkway and forklift-lane marking, where paint is not being used.
- A clean welcome board for the day of the visit.
Ask your QA team to share the exact wording and language the customer or auditor requires before design starts. Checking once is quicker than reprinting a corrected sign.
Shop floors here employ operators from across Maharashtra and other states, so many units print safety lines in Marathi, Hindi and English together with a pictogram that needs no language. Three languages on one sign means less space for each, so a slightly larger sign is the honest fix.
Which vinyl for which spot on the shop floor
| Spot | Vinyl choice | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Machine guards and panels | Printed vinyl sticker, laminated | Wipes clean, sticks to metal |
| Production hall walls | Vinyl on sunboard, screwed or taped | Rigid, light, easy to replace |
| Gangways and forklift lanes | Floor graphics with anti-skid lamination | Takes foot and trolley traffic |
| Office, canteen, training room | Posters on sunboard, frosted film on glass | Neater finish indoors |
| Compound wall outdoors | Flex with eyelets on a frame | The one row where flex beats vinyl |
Our vinyl sticker printing page explains laminated and plain finishes, and the main vinyl printing page covers the wider range.
Plant events: Safety Week, Vishwakarma Puja and Diwali
Many units mark National Safety Week in early March with slogan boards and a prize-distribution backdrop. Puja days and the Diwali celebration bring greeting boards and backdrops. The same events come round every year, so keep last year’s design file and we update the year and the slogan rather than starting again.
Bhosari town and the market
Outside the MIDC gates, Bhosari is a busy town of shops, hospitals, coaching classes and housing along the Pune to Nashik highway. Shop owners order cut vinyl lettering for the fascia and door glass, and clinics order frosted film and room signs; see hospital signage.
Getting vinyl to a Bhosari factory
Factories have gates, security and inward registers, so a delivery needs a name and sometimes a PO or challan reference. Tell us who will receive the print, the gate number and the hours inward is open. Prints go from Chandni Chowk up the highway into PCMC, and the gate delivery time is fixed with you after sign-off on the proof. Fixing inside the plant can be arranged if your safety rules allow outside workers.
One practical habit helps a lot: number every sign on the list and keep that numbering on the proof, the packing and the wall plan. When an auditor asks where a particular sign is, the QA team can answer in seconds, and a reprint of one damaged sign is easy to order by its number instead of describing it.
Neighbouring estates are covered at vinyl printing in Chakan and vinyl printing in Pimpri-Chinchwad. Share your list of signs, even as a rough Excel sheet, and ask for a quote.
