Ravet is a newer part of PCMC, laid out along the Mumbai-Bengaluru expressway, with housing societies at the centre and a few shops, salons and clinics serving them. Vinyl printing in Ravet is therefore mostly signs for new buildings, small shop fronts and sticker work. 3 Red Media prints vinyl at Chandni Chowk, Pune and delivers it along the expressway side.
Starting from a blank wall
Fresh buildings need every sign created from scratch, and it helps to treat the list in stages. Start with what visitors need on day one, add shop-side vinyl as units are let, and leave decorative extras for later.
- First: entry board, wing numbers, emergency exits.
- Second: parking bays, rule boards, clubhouse signs.
- Third: shop fascias and glass lettering as units are let.
A Ravet society, sign by sign
| Sign | Typical vinyl | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Project name and logo | Large printed board | Entry gate or compound wall |
| Wing and floor markers | Cut numbers and letters | Lobby walls, stair landings |
| Parking and speed rules | Printed vinyl on rigid sheet | Basement and podium |
| Clubhouse and gym rules | Printed panel | Inside the door |
| Emergency routes | Reflective or high-contrast arrows | Stairs and corridors |
Shops, salons and clinics under the flats
The units at the base of Ravet buildings are often small, with one door and one window. For these, a fascia print on sunboard, a few lines of cut lettering on the glass and a small door sticker with timings are usually enough. If a unit has glass that faces the road, frosted film can give privacy at seating height.
For a brand-new shop, ask how the board will be read from the expressway service road or the society road. The two views are very different, and the right size follows from where most customers will see it.
Resident and vehicle stickers
Gated societies often issue stickers for resident vehicles so the guard can spot an outsider quickly. A simple vinyl sticker with a flat colour, a wing code and a number does the job. Order a short test batch first and stick one on a windscreen in the sun for a week before committing to hundreds.
Wind, sun and monsoon at an expressway edge
The open sites near the expressway are windy, and heavy rain in the monsoon pushes against anything loose. Mounted vinyl boards need firm fixing, and a lightweight sheet on a tall wall is a risk. Tell us the height and exposure so we suggest a base that stays put.
Delivery to Ravet
Our unit at Chandni Chowk is on the highway side of Pune, and Ravet is on the same highway corridor, so delivery runs along a familiar route. Rolled vinyl and stickers are easy to hand over, mounted boards go in a vehicle, and fixing can be arranged where a ladder is needed. The plan is confirmed on WhatsApp after the proof is approved.
Neighbouring pages that might help: Nigdi and Akurdi on the Pradhikaran side and Wakad on the Hinjewadi side.
Reading distance on society roads
A sign meant for walking residents can be smaller than one meant for cars arriving at the gate. As a rule of thumb, letters about 1 inch tall read from roughly 10 feet, so a gate board seen from 40 feet wants letters near 4 inches. Use that to size lobby signs, parking numbers and entry boards before you send the measurements.
Basements are a special case. Light is low, so use high-contrast colours, white or yellow on dark, and avoid thin fonts. Reflective vinyl can help on speed breakers and turning points, and it can be mentioned in your request.
If you are signing several wings, share the wing names and floor counts in a list. We turn them into a matching set and one proof.
When the list is ready, send it with the quote form and the price and proof come back to you.
